About Us
Where did the name Ragnar come from?
Ragnar is a name important to both Marshall and Scott. Marshall is a direct descendant of Ragnar Lothbrok, who was King of all Norway. This historical figure conquered Scandinavia and his children England, Ireland, Scotland & France.
Scott's favorite book is Atlas Shrugged. Ragnar Danneskjöld is one of the main characters. He is a pirate who seizes relief ships sent from the United States to other countries so he can return the money to those who paid through their taxes.
Ragnar Manufacturing was started in 2023 by Scott Faris & Marshall Taylor, two long time industry professionals. Their decades of experience range from all aspects of the manufacturing process including: design, development, production, quality assurance, marketing, sales and customer service. Ragnar Manufacturing is dedicated to bringing you the best products at the best prices.
We are a Made in the USA company located in the great state of Idaho. Ragnar is a veteran owned company. You can depend on Ragnar and our products. We will be adding products year to year as we continue to grow. We appreciate all of our loyal partners past, present, and future. We look forward to working with you.

Marshall Taylor entered the industry in 2012. He worked from the ground up as a production worker, supervisor, operations manager, and then finally General Manager of a major manufacturer's most profitable location and product line. Marshall has extensive knowledge in operations as well as product design and development. Marshall and his wife, Sierra, are the proud parents of five children.
Scott Faris was one of the founding partners of Ayrlett Inc. in 2006. Scott was responsible for sales as the National Sales Manager & Vice President from 2006 thru 2014. Scott has extensive experience in product design and development. Under his leadership Ayrlett developed the first Poly Water Hammer Arrester in the industry, several new Air Admittance Valves, Outlet Boxes, Poly Valves, and more. Scott led Ayrlett as it's President from 2014 until 2022. Scott is a United States Army Veteran. He and his wife Cyndi are the proud parents of four children and two granddaughters.
